This place is a diamond in the rough. Great location, good hours. Using their online ordering system makes things seamless. I tend to order different things every time and the staff never messes up my order. I haven’t ordered something I didn’t enjoy but there are some specialities that are my favorites. Best beef lo mein in town. It makes even better leftovers, especially when I have a hangover. Just don't go on Tuesdays cause they are usually closed.
Ordered takeout here and it was one of the best experiences I've had. I often get soggy food from takeout restaurants, but everything here was crispy. Would highly recommend the TC2 Spicy Chili Chicken in Szechuan Style if you like spicy food.
I’ve ordered takeout from China Express several times now, and it’s quickly become my favorite spot for Chinese food. I usually get the Hot and Spicy Chicken or Jalapeño Chicken with combo fried rice and crab Rangoon, and everything is always delicious and fresh. The quality of the chicken here is pretty good. This is a big deal for me because I’ve tried other places like Happy Wok, where the chicken is often gritty and unpleasant. The prices at China Express are great, and so is the service. When I picked up my food, the gentleman ant the counter checked my order with me before ringing it up, which I really appreciate.
The food was good not what I am used to. I am from New England. Since moving to Illinois, I crave foods from back home. The cashier was very pleasant. The shrimp lo mein was very tasty. Love the sweet and sour chicken. Sweet and sour ribswere good. Did not care for the pork fried rice. Egg roll was over cooked. I would still go back and get the food we enjoyed.
Went for the 2nd time today. Got the curry fried rice, very flavorful and full of meat. Daughter got Szechuan Delight also great and full of meat! Very reasonable prices too!
The Black Pepper Chicken is to die for! I wish I could remove vital organs to make room for this delicious dish!
We've been ordering from them through Grubhub for 2 1/2 years. I'm a picky eater, so I tend to stick with what I know...which means I've only tried 2 dishes there, but they are great every time! Sweet & Sour chicken and Chicken Egg fu yong. 😋
Order from grub hub: Singapore Mein Fun and Spicy fried rice. The food was great! Delivered early, still warm and one of the best Singapore noodles/Singapore Mein fun I’ve had. I will be ordering from here again
Great little Chinese place. Always freshly made and ready in less than 30 minutes. Usually pick up to go. I just wish they had chicken or shrimp with pea pods, but their combo fried rice is great.
Super fast service, food came out hot and fresh within minutes. Friendly owner. Fair prices especially if you go for the deals. Wish there were a few more seafood options (like lobster), but no big deal.
